LEVEL 1 - 3 IN STRESS AWARENESs
We are all acutely aware these days of the pressure that is placed on both Employers and Employees to produce and perform to the best of their ability and more and more people are suffering with work place stress. Our level 1 - 3 Courses in Stress Awareness underwritten by Trainer Courses are led by our Chief Trainer Clive, as a 30+ year Registered Psychiatric Nurse who has worked in Prison environments where as the unit manager he had to not only work with very violent and very problematic people, but also had to mange a team of people who were under immense pressure every day. We all know that our staff and managers are the most important people in any industry as it is the managers who must get the best they can from the employees that are asked to give more and more. As pressures increase so does the probability of people becoming stressed and running the risk of high sickness levels and absenteeism. This course identifies to managers and employees the signs to look for and what problems can be caused by pushing people past their tolerance levels. The course is run over half to a full day depending on the level you would like, and we can train up to 16 people at once. For more information just click here to be directed to our contact page and our Chief Trainer Clive will return your e mail or call in person to discuss your requirements.
crs training service conflict management/resolution
Conflict, Anger, Hostility ~ call it what you will, but we all know that when we are exposed to this type of confrontational behaviour it is both frightening and stressful. Dealing with this type of issue can be very difficult especially those people in the path or eye line of the aggressor. Our Chief Trainer Clive is a 30 year + Registered Mental Health Nurse working in Long Term Prison Situations with violent and potentially problematic people. Coupled with these years of experience he was a trained Hostage Negotiator for nearly 25 years and has been called upon to negotiate with very volatile and threatening situations and has dealt with violence and aggression on a regular basis. In 2012 he was rewarded with a Butler Trust Award for working with Violent and Aggressive prisoners who were serving life imprisonment with very little to lose. This award was presented by HRH Princess Anne at Buckingham Palace. He ran a unit that specialised in showing violent and aggressive people an alternative approach that did not involve aggression and conflict. Training is given in how to recognise aggression (as it is not always face to face shouting and swearing), Identifying issues and solving them, diffusing situations and turning aggression into a level that all parties feel safe within. Please visit our click here to be redirected to our contact us page and Clive will be happy to answer your questions and requests. Training is given over half a day or can be a full day and all attendees are given a certificate of attendance.
